As the end of race season approaches it's easy to get complacent about your brake system, especially if everything has been working great. However, it's not a bad idea to re-bleed to get new fluid in the system - helps withstand race temperatures and prevent brake fade, spongy pedal, and unintended drag.
Brake pads and rotors lose volume as they wear so they will heat up faster, run hotter, and generally put more heat into the system. In addition, fresh pads and rotors help keep the caliper pistons further inside the caliper which helps prevent brake drag.
